Recovering troubled projects

Projects are often complex matters including also a portion of risks, uncertainty and external factors that impact the results. Sometimes problems occur and the window for action to get the project back on track can be narrow.

We have extensive experience from being involved in the assessment and recovery process of projects and the actions necessary for turning a failing project into a success. We assess your troubled project and we help you with developing an efficient recovery-plan. If requested we also conduct the recovery by acting as recovery project manager. We are using a systematic approach which, depending on the complexity of the situation, in part or full is based on the troubled project recovery framework lectured at the Project Management Institute PMI ® and conference paper by H. L. Ward 1).
